The Varilite Evolution wheelchair cushion uses air-foam flotation to provide skin protection for those at high risk of tissue breakdown, and postural support for those with symmetric positioning needs. Weighing less than 1kg, it is one of the lowest weight cushions in its class, yet is still one of the best performing, with proven and trusted dynamic and static pressure redistribution qualities, aided by the inclusion of a modifiable closed cell foam wedge for greater pressure redistribution along the thighs. The Varilite Proform NX is an off the shelf customisable cushion, making it the cushion of choice for wheelchair users with challenging positioning and postural support requirements. Comprising of a modifiable wedge, a contoured base, a dual chambered air-foam flotation cushion, and a modifiable thigh cushion, the Proform NX can be modified to meet any number of postural support requirements. Some common modifications include those to accommodate pelvic obliquities, upper leg length discrepancies, wind swept deformity, or limited hip flexion.

The Varilite Zoid PSV is a low profile tapered cushion without a medial separator to suit active wheelchair users with a moderate risk of tissue breakdown. Combining stability, simplicity, and lightweight design with skin protection, the Zoid PSV weighs less than 900g, and is only 2.9” high, making the ideal choice on the court, on the track, or on the trail.

The roll over cover protects the thighs for those with tight hamstrings or who tuck their legs under their chair, whilst the PSV (Pressure Setting Valve) makes set-up and adjustment even easier. Postural support is achieved with the use of extra-firm bevelled foam, providing lateral stability and seating balance, while a large ischial pan protects the pelvis in both anterior and posterior pelvic tilt positions.

Introduction to Zoid PSV Series

The Varilite Reflex wheelchair cushion offers skin protection for those at moderate risk of tissue breakdown thanks to the air-foam flotation technology. The Reflex is ideal for nursing homes, hospitals, and other clinical environments where an effective, low maintenance skin protection wheelchair cushion is required. Thanks to the built in air-release device, air is automatically released from the cushion as the user sits on it, allowing a fixed amount of immersion and preventing bottoming out. Thus, not only is the Varilite Reflex cushion ultra-lightweight and durable, but also even simpler to use. The Reflex cushion comes with incontinence cover for added peace of mind.
